The procrastinator’s guide to Valentine’s Day

Kaitlyn Smith, Reporter

Valentine’s Day is today, and if you’re anything like me then you waited to get your shopping in at the last minute.

Procrastination gets the best of all of us, but the Marionette is here to give you a few ideas and a guide to procrastinated shopping for your loved ones.

Not everyone is fortunate enough to find everything they plan on getting for their loved ones on such short notice, which is why common, fast places such as Walmart, your local Family Dollar or any other local and affordable store are your best friend in a crisis.

For girlfriends:

Teddy bear– 19.98 Walmart

Yes, it’s basic but it’s great for cuddling.

Charm bracelet– 15.99 Target

It’s affordable and would look great on her wrist, so why not?

For boyfriends:

Video games

If he’s a gamer, take a look at your local Game Stop for that one game he’s been dying to get.

Cologne – 27.95 Walmart

Simple but it smells good.

If all else fails, boys enjoy teddy bears as well.

Also, you can support the HCP tennis team buy contributing $2 for a tennis ball with candy in them- delivered to whoever you choose.

For loners:

Bow tie cat collar – ranges 14.99-16.99 depending on size

Or, just treat yourself to the classic combination of a movie and some chocolate.
