#Winning on the court

Harding basketball has officially started and their heels hit the ground running. Practices and conditioning over the summer led up to preparations for the winter season.

The varsity boys won by six points against Community Christian on Dec. 1 with leading scores from seniors Kameron Williams with 16 points, Jahari Johnson with 10 points and junior Cayman McKinney with 12 points.

They blew ASTEC Charter School out of the water by 45 points on Dec. 5th. The leading scores for that game came from seniors Ryan Cole, Johnson and Williams who each had a total of 10 plus points.

Senior Arian Farkhoy and McKinney put major points on the board which led the Eagles to their third and consecutive win against Lone Wolf, with a final score of 89-25.

The varsity girls won against Seminole and Wichita Christian.

On Dec. 7-9 both the girls and the boys played in the Geronimo Tournament in Lawton. The girls came in 3rd place in the tournament and the boys came in 1st place.

The last home game before winter break was on Dec. 15 against John Marshall. The Lady Eagles won 47-20 against the Bears.

During winter break both teams will play in the Duncan Holiday Tournament on Dec. 27- 29.
